1964 Corvette Convertible

This consignment car is part of a 40 car collection we're selling for a friend. Now , please understand that I'm much more knowledgable about pre war cars and have not yet investigated the engine no. , but I did take a picture of that so feel free to check that yourself. It is supposed to be a high horsepower engine , and the tach on the dash does confirm this. Yes , I know , this is no car for mr. purist with the custom paint , hood and wheels , but if you're reading this after you've seen the pictures that means you must still be interested , and you should be , because the interior is super nice and all original ; I mean , it's purrfect ! Alas , no soft top but it does have the hardtop as you can see. Engine starts every time on a dime and sounds great. Drive it as is as a nice representation of an era gone by , or bring it back to original ; another hood and some bumpers are easy to find and the body is nice and straight so you would not have to spend a fortune if you'd want to paint it..Well , it is what it is , so please don't call me or email me telling me what I already know...What I know is that the car is priced reasonable at $45k , and I can ship it anywhere for you..45K , that's it and you own it and that's a fair deal , my friend..

1981 Jaguar XK 120 Reproduction

Just in , a cool looking Jaguar XK 120 reproduction. Interior was faded , so we're installing brand new leather seats , new carpet and a new cloth top ! Chrome of windshield and grille is flaking and there are multiple stone chips in the paint. Wirewheels are very nice. A exhaust manifold gasket still needs to be installed , but it's in the trunk with a tonneau cover , bag for the side curtains etc. Here's a description as the former owner gave it to us : J A G U A R XK120Z XK120Z – A pedigreed replica classic. This is not a KIT car. The vehicle was built by Coventry Classics LTD and Classic Reproduction LTD of California in 1981. Only eight (8) XK120Zs were built by 1982 each with a $30,000.00 price tag. The vehicle was bought NEW in California, 1982. The vehicle has always been parked inside a residential garage and well maintained. The XK120Z is a handcrafted classic reproduction built with the same tradition of craftsmanship and attention to detail as the original. The reinforced fiberglass body is a painstaking duplicate of the 1952 series Jaguar roadster mounted on a modern chassis. All of the exterior trim and hardware items are replacement Jaguar parts. The removable convertible top and side curtains are also duplicate parts. Zenith Chrome wire wheels with functional knock-off centers are standard equipment as well as the “Nardi” signature wood rim steering wheel. A “Monza” fuel filter cap is the same as used on the competition cars in the 1950’s. The heart of the XK120Z is the well proven Datsun Z engine of 240-280 lineage. This husky 6 cylinder overhead cam power plant closely duplicates the performance of the Jaguar engine. This engine has been modified to a 280ZX L28 2.8 – 4.0 liter engine with a Hooker header with a cost of $10,794.00 Aug 2005. The Jaguar XK120 is considered by many to be the most beautiful production roadster of the postwar era. Body in excellent condition. No accident or body repair ever done, original paint. Excellent running condition. 0-60mph in 6.7 seconds. ENGINE: REBUILT to 280 ZX L28 ET 2.8L – 4.0 TURBO L28 ET INTAKE, BECK/ARNLEY fuel injectors Rewired, New Datsun 280ZX computer Push button START and new gauges Hooker Header. New dual exhaust system SILVERLINE dual mufflers, IRIDIUM “Special Spark plugs” 8.8mm spiral custom distributor cable 12V New Generation battery New core radiator, Power steering, Disc brakes TIRES: PIRELLI P600-P235/60ZR15 98W $200 @ tire ALPINE CDA 9886 AM/FM /CD stereo with IPOD/Satellite/USB connection, ALPINE 4ea SPR 69 (100 watts) RMS speakers. Convertible top with windows, bumpers re-chromed. Dashboard replaced with Hawaiian KOA wood and heart shape gear shift knob. Oog-Gah horn I'm going to replace the shifter knob and will update pictures as soon as car is done. Will sell for only $22,500 !!! Can ship anywhere for a reasonable price too !
